- an closing paragraph, recapping on what you have written.
- Pictures, maps etc with captions to explain what they are.
- Remember to use facts not opinions
The Mighty Gorilla
Mighty gorillas live in forests in tropical Africa, including Rwanda. Few animals have sparked the imagination of man as much as the gorilla who are the last members of the biggest living apes. They are endangered and we need less people hunting gorillas and more people protecting their habitats.
What do Gorillas look like?
Gorillas look a little bit like monkey’s, they have fingers as their feet, but in a weird shape. All gorillas are hairy. They have hair on their head, arms, legs, cheeks and stomach. The rest of their body is hard, shiny black skin. They have a huge head and big nostrils. Their nose print is the same as a human's fingerprint. No two are the same.
Not all gorillas look the same. Some have a silver-back and are always male. The gorillas that have a silver-back are the leader’s.
Gorillas behaviour
Gorillas live in groups called troops that are made up of 1 to 4 adult males, the boss are called the silver-back. Some of the childish males are called black backs. Many females and their babies make up the rest of the troop. They spend the day looking for food, playing or grooming each other. At night they make a nest using leaves to sleep in. s
Silver-back gorillas are the kings of the forest, so if someone threatens one of their family, then you're threatening one of the king's troop, it would get so angry and try to kill you. I’m warning you gorillas in Africa are dangerous but most of the time they are harmless .
What they eat
Gorillas love to eat. They need to eat lots of food otherwise they will die and be extinct. Gorillas are vegetarians so they only eat healthy food. They mostly eat wild celery, bamboo, thistles, stinging nettles and variety of plants.
Where they live
Gorillas live in lots of different places. If you want to find some gorillas, the places you should find most gorillas places like dense forests and woodlands in Africa. Some are up 10,000 feet up in the mountain, a cloudy, misty place that is cold. Where they are is influenced by food available to eat. Gorillas are also rulers of the forest.
I think that gorillas deserve more than to be hunted by our own kind. We need to protect these intelligent animals and make sure that they survive for future generations.

100 word challenge World peace day
Every single day there’s fighting everywhere I go, I hate it.I’ve seen my family do really bad things like fighting at each other.I’ve decided to try and make 1,000 cranes so I can just wish for my family to stop fighting.I asked my teacher if I could have all the paper she has, she said “yes”.I did them by myself, and everyone got in my way so that was a problem. But one day I got my luck and did 1,000 cranes then I Made my wish, and nobody was fighting forever. The End

Every child deserves a warm home
First: point Would you want more than four hundred & fifty children to sleep outside with no blankets or pillows on the cold rocky concrete, or would you want them to sleep in a nice & warm cozy bed.Just imagine you and your child sleeping outside on the cold concrete your child would be freezing to death especially when it’s winter.
Second point: There are a lot of homeless people that are sick.most parents are homeless and have no car and they have to make signs so they can get clothes, job, car, food, water and a house for their children so they don’t die or get sick.
Third point: Right now there are thousands of people living in cars, their kitchens are sometimes in their boot and they try to sleep on the seats but they can’t because they can’t fit especially when there’s eight or nine people in the car. They also wouldn't be able to sleep at night because they would of been bullied just because they live in a car(the poor children).
Fourth point: A warm home is a lot easier for your children to do your homework instead of doing it on a old and rusty garage. In a home you could have a desk to do your homework in, WiFi if you have a laptop or iPad, lunch just in case your hungry, and last but not least a room so your children can have their own space and nobody will disturb them. But in a garage they won’t have a desk to work on, no homework, lunch, no WiFi, and no rooms. That means there will be kids bothering you, but if they have no brothers or sisters then it will be their parents bothering them, and if they keep on getting distracted then they won’t get a good grade and won’t get a scholarship to collage or university, would you want that for your child.
Conclusion: I’ve given you four reasons why every child deserves a warm home Because they do, they don’t deserve sleep outside with no blankets or pillows,.Children don’t deserve to stand on the side of the streets and have no food or water and get sick and almost die. They most likely do not deserve to live in a car and try to go to sleep at night because they think about the times that they get mocked because they live in a car.Your children don’t deserve to live in a garage and get distracted, and don’t get their scholarship. They deserve the exact opposite, So please look after your children and keep them in a warm home.

My papa loves children so much he would give us lollies for no particular reason.
My papa also love’s children because they run around and they always laugh and have fun, that’s why he loves children. my papa also loves to spoil his favourite children.
My papa has the biggest stomach in the family, that’s why my papa laughs like a squirrel, and when you try to poke his big stomach he would try to hold it and then you won’t be able poke his big stomach, and when you wobble it up and down up and down he would go hhhuuoohh and his stomach would go boom!!! (My baby cousin Apollo who is 2 years old has a big stomach just like my papa.)
My papa loves to sing every time we go to the hall at Mangre, and when we go he would rush down to the eating area and try to take all of the raw-fish and it’s mixed with salad and coconut cream mmmmmmm yummy. When he finishes the raw-fish all then he will start to sing again.
My papa loves sleeping anywhere he would sleep on the couch the floor the chair and the mattress. My papa is like a sleeping sloth.
My papa’s name is Apolo Mataora and his wife’s name is Kaututu Mataora(my nana) and he has five children two girls and three boys one of the boys died and one of the girls is my mum their names is Latea Katoa(my mum)Sharon Katoa,Tangikau Katoa,Romani Katoa and i don’t remember the other boys name because he died before I was born.I love my papa so much and I know that he protects me but because he’s getting sick I feel like I should protect him and because I love him very much.
